You're definitely onto something! Some games subtly boost certain cars to keep things interesting. Reminds me of how in Truck Simulator Ultimate dinheiro infinito, you can unlock hidden potential in trucks and see huge performance jumps. Wouldn't be surprised if Parking Multiplayer has similar mechanics baked in.
