Any Advice on Structuring a Scalable Course Website Without WordPress?

I’m currently managing a niche online education platform that teaches professional nail and beauty skills — like gel polish and BIAB techniques. You can check it out here: nailandbeautyonlinecourses.ie.

Right now, it’s not built with WordPress. I’m debating whether to rebuild using Next.js + PostgreSQL, or keep the existing custom CMS for flexibility. Has anyone here tackled something similar — maybe with a small but growing e-learning platform? Would love to hear thoughts on performance, SEO, and content management strategies from a dev perspective.
