How long does it take to build an e-learning platform?

Hey folks! We’re thinking about building an internal training system and found a promising e-learning software development company. Before we jump in, I’d like to know what kind of timeline we should expect for a basic MVP. Have any of you worked with a dev team on this before? Would love to hear your experience.
