A small, funded technology startup is looking for a Front-end developer to join our small team at Udom Suk BTS. Must be confident in hand-coding beautiful, responsive web pages using HTML and CSS. Experience less important than a willingness to want to learn.#Required skills
- Proficient understanding of web markup: HTML5 and CSS3
- Understand the ideas behind responsive design
- Advantageous skills
- Experience in CSS preprocessors like Sass and LESS and/or build tools like Gulp or
Webpack - Experience in writing basic JavaScript or using libraries just as jQuery
- Experience creating web templates, partials and AJAX
- Understanding optimising code for speed, scalability and accessibility.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Understanding of version control systems, e.g. Git
- English language an advantage
#Responsibilities
- Work with the design and technical team to create new websites
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Any knowledge of SEO an advantage
